Meet Chaplain John Thompson

John joined Emergency Chaplains in 2023 and serves as our Chaplaincy Coordinator for Northampton County, North Carolina.

He serves as the pastor of Rich Square Baptist Church and is a part-time EMT with Northampton EMS. Additionally, he is the chaplain for the Rich Square Volunteer Fire Department, Northampton County Firemen’s Association, and Northampton County Emergency Services (including EMS and 911 Dispatch) . John holds a bachelor's degree from Liberty University and has been serving in ministry since 2007.
