
Meet Chaplain
Will murphy
Will Murphy brings a lifetime of experience and service to his role as Chaplaincy Development Manager. A retired professional firefighter and paramedic with 23 years of service at Largo Fire Rescue, Will has served in numerous roles including Acting Lieutenant, Hazardous Materials Technician, and Technical Rescue Team member. He is also a certified Public Safety Chaplain and a seasoned facilitator with Operation Restore’s traumatic stress retreats for first responders.
Beyond the fire service, Will has led mission teams internationally, served as a deacon and small group leader, and trained countless responders through his work with the Florida State Fire College and local EMS systems. He is trained in crisis intervention, peer support, and disaster response and holds certifications from the Federation of Fire Chaplains, ICISF, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Emergency Chaplains.
Will is passionate about equipping chaplains to serve with wisdom, compassion, and excellence. He is a Christ-follower, a committed mentor, and a dynamic leader dedicated to the emotional and spiritual wellness of those who serve on the front lines.
